Post Malone believes that rosé isn’t just a summer drink. The rapper is bringing his popular Maison No. 9 wine into the fall with a brand new, autumn-inspired cocktail recipe he told Billboard.

To craft the Maison No. 9 Fig Old Fashioned, cocktail lovers should add a fig, two dashes of pecan bitters and a dash of orange into a mixing glass and muddle well. Add 1.5 oz of Maison No. 9, one oz of the whiskey of your choice and ice to the mixing glass. Stir for 20 to 30 seconds, before straining over fresh ice and garnishing with an orange peel and fresh fig for the ultimate fall beverage.

“We created Maison No. 9 to be enjoyed alone as well as mixed with other flavors,” Post said while talking to Billboard. “We’re really doing new s–t with rosè. It’s great by itself, but can also add so much to other cocktails. We developed it to showcase the versatility of Maison No. 9.”

Maison No. 9’s co-founder James Morrissey added: “We told our mixologist to test our rosé with multiple types of liquors and fruit profiles in search of some signature recipes — when the inénovation began, we started to see some incredible recipes come to life. We are excited for you to taste the results.”

Earlier this month, Post Malone and his team paid a visit to the Maison No. 9 winery to access the situation after wildfires broke out in mid-August in the Var region, near the South of France. While the fires reportedly started in forests, officials say strong winds eventually fanned the flames to wine-growing areas as well. The BBC reports at least 73 wineries that were affected by the blaze. Fortunately, firefighters were able to get to Malone’s winery in time. A rep for Maison No. 9 says though “the vineyard was impacted heavily… thankfully; the hardworking firefighters were able to get the blaze under control.”

He later hosted a dinner for a few of the firefighters to thank them for their efforts in saving his crop. Per a rep, “[The team] was saddened to see the damage to an area they’ve grown to love so much but were very thankful to see that their grapes were saved. Post and his team were so moved by the firefighters’ hard and brave work.”

‘Wicked’ Director Says ‘Long Road Ahead’ for Britney Spears Biopic

According to reports in August 2023, Britney Spears and Jon M. Chu, the director of ‘Wicked’, were working on a biopic based on her novel, ‘The Woman in Me’. Sharing the announcement on social media, Spears said she was working on a “secret project” with producer Marc Platt, who she said was behind some of her favourite movies. Chu did, however, affirm in November that the movie was still in its early phases of development and that no screenwriter had yet been hired.

Chu gave a fresh update at the 2025 Golden Globes, saying he admired Britney and wanted to convey her tale honestly. It would be a “long road ahead” to make the movie a reality, he said, acknowledging that the idea was still in its early stages and would require time.

Chu also explained in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that, even though the biography is still in its early stages, Spears would be actively involved in its production. Although he had some ideas for the movie, he acknowledged that a lot of the preparation was still in the works.

Spears caused confusion in September 2023 when she alluded to the possibility that her “secret project” might be a “fictional musical” rather than a biography. Chu reacted to these remarks by implying that Spears likes to tease her fans and keep some things a mystery. Despite any uncertainty regarding the project’s course, he conveyed his enthusiasm about collaborating with her.

In its first week of release, Spears’ memoir ‘The Woman in Me’ sold a million copies globally and more than 2.5 million copies in the United States. The audiobook, which was introduced by Spears and narrated by Michelle Williams, became the fastest-selling audiobook in Simon & Schuster’s history. She discloses an abortion she had while dating Justin Timberlake, among other intimate discoveries in the novel.
