Post Malone’s Surprise Guest Steals The Show at 2024 ACM Awards

At a recent performance, Post Malone made his much-anticipated debut at the ACM Awards, captivating audiences with a seamless fusion of old-school country melodies and his latest hit single, ‘I Had Some Help’, featuring Morgan Wallen.

Taking centre stage in a white Dallas Cowboys jersey, Malone exuded a blend of casual charm and musical prowess, complemented by his band members donning bright blue NFL uniforms. While Wallen didn’t appear for the performance, fans were treated to an unexpected delight as Malone joined host Reba McEntire for an impromptu acapella rendition of The Allman Brothers Band’s classic ‘Ramblin’ Man.’

The backstage ambience was filled with excitement as Malone engaged in a playful banter with Bobby Bones, sharing light-hearted moments that added a personal touch to the evening. His journey into country music had been a source of anticipation for fans, especially since teasing the collaboration with Wallen on social media earlier.

Beyond his ACM debut, Malone’s affinity for country music was evident at the Stagecoach festival, where he delighted audiences with a medley of beloved country covers alongside Brad Paisley, Sara Evans, and Dwight Yoakam, showcasing his deep appreciation and respect for the genre.

This performance marked a significant milestone in Malone’s musical journey, building on his previous appearance at the 2023 CMA Awards, where he paid tribute to Joe Diffie with heartfelt renditions of country classics alongside Wallen and HARDY. Malone’s venture into country music has been met with enthusiasm and support, with plans for a country record in the works, as revealed during a Twitch livestream in April.

While the official release of his country album awaits, Malone has garnered praise from industry veterans like Wynonna Judd, who commended his live performances and genuine demeanour during a conversation with Entertainment Tonight.
