Rachel Zegler Reveals Exciting Update on ‘Snow White’ Live-Action

Rachel Zegler has announced on Instagram that reshoots for Disney’s anticipated live-action remake of ‘Snow White’ have wrapped up. Originally wrapping principal photography last summer, the film required additional filming, typical for major productions, to ensure its readiness for its 21st March 2025 release date. 

Zegler, cast as the titular princess in 2021 just before her breakout role in West Side Story, shared the update with fans.

The star-studded cast of Snow White includes Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen, known for her role in the DC Extended Universe as Wonder Woman. Andrew Burnap, Ansu Kabia, and Martin Klebba are also set to appear in the film. Initially slated for release last spring, production delays due to industry strikes pushed the premiere date.

Directed by Marc Webb, known for his work on ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ films and ‘(500) Days of Summer’, ‘Snow White’ marks Disney’s latest adaptation of a beloved animated classic, following recent successes like ‘The Lion King’ and ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
