Rebecca Ferguson Turns Heads at ‘Dune 2’ Premiere in NYC

Rebecca Ferguson and her husband, Rory St. Clair Gainer, showcased their creativity on the red carpet for the recent ‘Dune: Part 2’ premiere! The 40-year-old ‘Mission: Impossible’ actress, who plays a key role in the upcoming sci-fi adventure film directed by Denis Villeneuve, revealed in an interview that her husband played a significant role in crafting her last-minute wardrobe for the 25th February New York City event.

Collaborating with her stylist, Tom Eerebout, Ferguson opted for a gothic ensemble by Olivier Theyskens. St. Clair Gainer took the look to the next level by adding stacks of dog chains from a local pet store to the black bodysuit layered under a sheer gown with lace and fishnet panelling.

Completing the bold look with thigh-high black boots and a vibrant red lip, Ferguson humorously described her style for the evening as “Madonna on c*ack.”

In contrast to her Dune character, Lady Jessica, Ferguson embraced a completely different aesthetic for the premiere, breaking free and expressing her gothic glam. The Swedish star, known for her edgy and Scandi style, emphasised the freedom and platform to communicate something distinct.

Reflecting on her character in Dune, Ferguson highlighted Lady Jessica’s quiet strength and calm demeanour, emphasizing the character’s powerful actions over words. In a recent revelation during press interviews, Ferguson shared her experience of being “screamed at” on the set by an A-list actor who struggled with delivering scenes.

Following this revelation, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, her Hercules costar, expressed support for Ferguson, praising her for standing up against such behaviour. ‘Dune: Part 2’ is set to open in theatres on 1st March.
