‘Rick and Morty: The Anime’ Shares Exciting First Look

‘Rick and Morty: The Anime’ is set to premiere on Adult Swim later this year and there’s a new preview clip that’s just been released, giving us a glimpse of the action.

Although Season 8 of ‘Rick and Morty’ won’t hit our screens until next year, this anime adaptation will keep us entertained in the meantime. This new spin-off promises to offer a unique take on the familiar multiverse, bringing with it a host of fresh, zany adventures.

The exact release date for ‘Rick and Morty: The Anime’ hasn’t been confirmed yet. However, we’ve been treated to a steady stream of previews over recent months. With a special screening of the first episode planned for later this month, it won’t be long before we get a full taste of the series. In the meantime, Adult Swim has released a new clip featuring an unexpected shootout at the Smith house.

Directed by Takashi Sano, known for his work on ‘Rick and Morty vs. Genocider’ and ‘Summer Meets God (Rick Meets Evil),’ this series will be produced by Sola Entertainment and consist of ten episodes. The talented team behind the scenes includes Maki Nagano, Max Nishi and Takenari Maeda as producers; Yu Kiyozono as animation producer; Yuuki Kakizoe as assistant producer; Jason DeMarco and Joseph Chou as executive producers; Arisa Matsuzawa as art director; and Makiko Kojima as colour designer.

‘Rick and Morty: The Anime’ will be available on Adult Swim, Toonami and Max upon its release. The story promises to be intriguing: Rick finds himself in a pseudo-world between multiverses, Summer teams up with Space Beth to battle the evil Galactic Federation, and Morty falls for a mysterious girl who exists outside of time.
