Rick Harrison’s Son’s Passing to Remain Unspoken in New Season of ‘Pawn Stars’

The upcoming season of ‘Pawn Stars’ will not address the tragic passing of Rick Harrison’s son, Adam Harrison, as confirmed by PEOPLE. Adam, who was not part of the cast of the popular History Channel show, passed away at the age of 39 on 19th January due to an overdose.

Despite the devastating loss, the show, featuring Rick’s other son Corey Harrison and Austin ‘Chumlee’ Russell, began filming its 23rd season earlier this month. The news was first reported by TMZ.

Laura Herlovich, a representative for Rick, had previously confirmed Adam’s death to the Las Vegas Review-Journal last month, expressing the family’s extreme sadness and requesting privacy during their grieving process.

Rick, 58, subsequently shared a heartfelt tribute to his late son on Instagram a few days later, accompanied by a photo of himself and Adam at a bar. “You will always be in my heart! I love you, Adam. 💔,” he wrote.

Adam, the second child of Rick and his ex-wife Kim did not appear on ‘Pawn Stars’ alongside Rick and Corey, but reports suggest he worked at ‘Gold & Silver Pawn’ before the show premiered in 2009. Rick remarried his second wife, Tracy, with whom he shares a son named Jake.
