Rihanna On Wanting More Children: ‘I Want as Many Kids as God Wants Me to Have’

In a conversation with Interview Magazine, Rihanna, who is already a mother to sons RZA (23 months) and Riot (8 months) with partner A$AP Rocky (35), was asked about her plans for more children by stylist Mel Ottenberg.

“I’m open to having as many as God wants me to have,” Rihanna replied.

When questioned if she desires more than two children, she expressed her willingness, stating, “I’m not sure what God has in store, but I would definitely aim for more than two. I would hope for a daughter. However, if it’s another boy, that’s perfectly fine too.”

Reflecting on her parenting journey, Rihanna recently spoke with Vogue China, emphasizing her commitment to nurturing her children’s individuality and authenticity.

“The most wonderful aspect…is witnessing their innate individuality and sincerity, free from any predetermined logic or societal norms, which often pressures individuals to conform to certain moulds,” she shared. “It’s truly inspiring, and I want to continue guiding them through that journey, ensuring they know they can freely express themselves and embrace their uniqueness wholeheartedly. I cherish them just as they are.”

Furthermore, Rihanna revealed to Page Six from the New York Post in November that her bond with Rocky has deepened since becoming parents.

“My love for him has evolved since he became a father. It’s a significant, transformative experience…it’s incredibly attractive,” she expressed. “He’s an incredible leader, patient, and loving…and my children adore him.”
