Rihanna Shares Adorable Story Behind Son RZA's First Word

Rihanna, the renowned ‘Love on the Brain’ singer recently delved into her experiences as a mother in an Interview Magazine cover story in April. In this candid conversation, she revealed an endearing moment with her 23-month-old son RZA, sharing that his first word was "Hey." 

This charming revelation stemmed from Rihanna's repeated attempts to capture her son's attention by saying "Hey, hey, hey," which RZA eventually echoed back to her in the same melody.

Rihanna's family includes her two sons, RZA and Riot, aged 8 months, whom she shares with her partner A$AP Rocky, aged 35. During the interview, Rihanna also expressed her openness to expanding her family further, expressing her desire to have a daughter someday. 

When asked about the number of children she envisions having, Rihanna's response reflected her faith and openness to the future. She stated, "As many as God wants me to have," emphasising her belief in divine guidance.

In another interview, Rihanna discussed the significance of hair braiding in her life. She explained that braids hold a special place in her heart as a form of self-expression and creative exploration.

Since becoming a mother, Rihanna has found even greater meaning in the practice of hair braiding, seeing it as a connection to her ancestral heritage and a way to honour her cultural roots. She emphasised the importance of passing down this tradition to her children, viewing it as a symbol of resilience and cultural identity.
