Rita Ora Cancels Campus Fesztivál Performance Following “Doctor’s Orders”

The British singer and actress Rita Ora recently announced the cancellation of her performance at the Campus Fesztivál music festival in Debrecen, Hungary. The cancellation was made on the day she was scheduled to perform, due to health issues that required immediate attention.

In a heartfelt statement shared via her Instagram Stories, Ora expressed her regret, saying, “Please forgive this unexpected turn of events but sadly I will not be able to perform at Campus Fesztivál tonight.” She elaborated that she had spent the previous night in a Budapest hospital and would need to adhere strictly to “doctor’s orders” to ensure a full recovery. “I am so sorry to my fans who are going to be there today and I’m truly thankful for your understanding,” she added.

This announcement came shortly after Ora had shared her appreciation for a recent performance in Lithuania. She had taken to Instagram to thank the audience at the As Young As Vilnius festival, calling the experience an “absolute honour.”

According to her official website, Ora’s next scheduled performance is set for August 16 at the Lovestream Festival in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Earlier in the month, during an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show’ Starring Jimmy Fallon, Ora reflected on attending a Taylor Swift concert in Sydney with her friend Katy Perry. She described the event as an ultimate “girls’ night out,” noting the special bond between pop stars like Perry and herself.

Despite her current health setback, Ora’s fans can look forward to her upcoming festival appearances and more engagements in the near future.
