Even after all these years, Robert Pattinson still finds it hard to believe that anyone could actually be on Team Jacob. While promoting their upcoming film 'The Drama' in Paris, the 39-year-old actor and his co-star Zendaya sat down with the French outlet Canal+ to revisit the famous love triangle that defined his early career.
Zendaya Joins Team Edward
When the reporter brought up the classic choice between the vampire Edward Cullen and the werewolf Jacob Black, Zendaya didn't hesitate. The 29-year-old actress declared her loyalty to Team Edward, even joking that she needs to go out and buy all the vintage merchandise to prove it.

Pattinson, ever the wit, laughed off the idea of a rivalry. He jokingly claimed that nobody was actually Team Jacob and suggested the whole debate was just a clever marketing ploy from years ago. When the reporter admitted to being a Jacob fan, Pattinson offered a playful apology while Zendaya laughed along, calling the revelation "crazy."
A Growing List of Supporters
Zendaya isn't the only A-list star backing Edward. Robert Pattinson's other recent co-star, Jennifer Lawrence, shared a similar sentiment during their press tour for 'Die My Love' last year. She explained that while she preferred Jacob in the original books, she was firmly Team Edward when it came to the movies.
Despite the franchise's massive success and the current "Twilight revival," Robert Pattinson has always been open about how bizarre he finds the story. He previously noted that while the films are romantic, they aren't exactly traditional. He pointed out the strange reality of a guy finding the girl of his dreams only to realise he also wants to drink her blood.

Fans of the duo have a lot to look forward to this year. Their new film, 'The Drama,' is set to hit theatres on 3rd April. Following that, both Robert Pattinson and Zendaya will appear in Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' this July, and they will reunite again for the highly anticipated 'Dune: Part Three' in December.
