Robert Pattinson managed to sneak into Josh Safdie’s newest film without anyone noticing. During a recent talk at London's BFI Southbank, the director revealed that the 39-year-old actor has a secret voice-only cameo in the hit A24 drama 'Marty Supreme,' which stars Timothée Chalamet.
Josh Safdie, who previously directed Pattinson in the thriller 'Good Time,' shared that the actor provides the voice for the umpire and commentator during a key scene. He described the appearance as a subtle hidden detail for fans to find, explaining that the idea came about because he needed an authentic British voice for a sequence set at the British Open. When Robert Pattinson stopped by to see some early footage, Safdie joked that he didn't know many British people and asked him to step in.

Robert Pattinson's Secret Cameo
Robert Pattinson's voice can be heard early in the film, calling the play-by-play for a high-stakes match that introduces Chalamet's character to the international ping-pong world. This project marks Safdie's first time directing a feature film solo since he and his brother, Benny, decided to work on separate projects.
The movie features an eclectic cast, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler, the Creator, and Fran Drescher, but it is Chalamet who has been the focus of this year's awards season. He has already picked up a Golden Globe and a Critics' Choice Award for his performance as the table tennis legend.

During his acceptance speech at the Golden Globes on 11th January, Chalamet took a moment to thank his family and his partner, Kylie Jenner. He talked about how his father taught him to be grateful for everything he has, noting that even the years he went home without a trophy helped him appreciate his current success even more.
