Ryan Reynolds Responds to Martha Stewart’s Claim That ‘He’s Not So Funny’

Recently, Ryan Reynolds addressed Martha Stewart’s comments that he isn’t humorous in real life. Stewart’s initial remark was made when she appeared on Bilt Rewards’ November Rent Free game show. She called Reynolds serious and pointed out that while he can be funny, he isn’t funny by nature. Perhaps, she said, he could be humorous again. Reynolds, who lives close, may be offended by her remarks, Stewart said.

In a lighthearted remark posted on X, Reynolds joked that he wouldn’t quarrel with her because she’s unexpectedly short on her feet.

Reynolds’ remark was met with laughter from fans, who were surprised by the playful rivalry between the two. Another user said that they weren’t sure which side to support, while another said they hadn’t anticipated a lighthearted altercation between Reynolds and Stewart this year. Hugh Jackman even added a playful remark to Reynolds’ tweet.

Stewart reportedly mentioned additional celebs she would like to hang out with, including George Clooney, Snoop Dogg, and Taylor Swift, whom she described as “pleasurable and fun company.” Before adding Swift to the list, she had primarily been considering male celebs, whom she characterized as wonderful. She also remarked that she would love to hang out with Brad Pitt.

Both Stewart and Reynolds live close to Bedford, New York, where Stewart owns a farm. According to a previous 2022 article, Reynolds and his spouse, Blake Lively, choose a more sedate lifestyle with their kids, spending time in Bedford but also making more frequent trips to the city. Stewart has also provided information about her Bedford home, highlighting renovations and a lot of landscaping to make it more cozy for her usage.
