Sabrina Carpenter Was in ‘Law and Order’ at 11; Revisit Her Episode

Sabrina Carpenter’s journey to stardom began at a remarkably young age, showcasing her acting prowess in a guest role on the acclaimed television series ‘Law and Order: SVU’. A resurfaced clip from the show’s archives unveils a poignant scene where the then-youthful Carpenter portrayed a character named Paula, a victim of abuse by a s*x trafficking ring, being interviewed by the formidable Detective Elliot Stabler, portrayed by Christopher Meloni. 

Carpenter’s acting talents continued to flourish, securing a recurring role in the sitcom ‘Goodwin Games’, followed by her claim-to-fame lead role in the Disney Channel’s ‘Girl Meets World’, a reboot of the beloved ‘Boy Meets World’ series, which spanned three successful years until its conclusion.

Reflecting on her time on ‘Girl Meets World’ in a candid interview Carpenter reminisced, “That was my world and that was my everything, and I was so proud to be a part of it and everything that it stood for.” She acknowledged the growth and self-discovery that paralleled her character’s journey, stating, “I definitely would have done some things differently had I been doing it now, but I think the beauty of the show was that we really were at the age that we were playing and we were coming into ourselves as we were playing characters that were coming into themselves.”

Another monumental milestone in Carpenter’s illustrious career was her debut as the musical guest on the season 49 finale of the iconic ‘Saturday Night Live’, marking her introduction to the long-running sketch comedy show. Sharing the stage with host Jake Gyllenhaal, Carpenter captivated audiences with her talent and charisma.

Carpenter’s meteoric rise to stardom has been further solidified by the resounding success of her single ‘Espresso’, which has reigned atop “Billboard’s” Global Excl. US chart for four consecutive weeks, maintaining its presence on the chart for an impressive seven weeks overall. This remarkable achievement serves as a testament to her musical prowess and resonance with audiences worldwide. 

Building upon her triumphs, Carpenter recently announced the highly anticipated release of her sixth studio album, ‘Short n’ Sweet,’ scheduled for unveiling on a date that promises to be a momentous occasion for her fans and the music industry alike.
