Sacha Baron Says Rebel Wilson’s Threat Allegation Is a ‘Demonstrably False Claim’

Sacha Baron Cohen has finally addressed the controversy surrounding Rebel Wilson and her upcoming memoir, ‘Rebel Rising.’ Wilson’s Instagram feed is currently buzzing with updates about her memoir, scheduled for release on 2nd April 2024.

The drama unfolded when Wilson mentioned an unnamed celebrity attempting to suppress details from her book. However, she has now confirmed via her Instagram story that the individual in question is none other than Sacha Baron Cohen.

Initially, Baron Cohen remained silent on the matter, but his representatives have since spoken out, addressing Wilson’s claims. A representative of Baron Cohen spoke to TMZ, stating, “While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of ‘The Brothers Grimsby.'”

The controversy escalated when Wilson alleged that Baron Cohen hired a crisis management PR team to suppress details from her memoir. She even labelled him as an “a**hole” and revealed that she dedicated a chapter to him in her book. Wilson went on to accuse Baron Cohen of on-set “harassment,” claiming that he made s*xually explicit demands that were unrelated to their film, ‘Grimsby Brothers.’

In a video posted on 15th March 2024, Wilson indirectly hinted at her feud with Baron Cohen, discussing her zero-tolerance policy towards “a**holes” in Hollywood. In a radio show interview in 2014, Wilson recounted an incident where Baron Cohen allegedly pressured her to perform nude scenes in the film, despite her objections.

She claimed that Baron Cohen even made unwanted s*xual demands, such as asking her to “stick your finger up my b*tt.”

Baron Cohen’s representative has refuted these allegations, asserting that they possess sufficient evidence to disprove Wilson’s claims.
