Salma Hayek Reveals The Hilarious Reason Her Family Bars Her From Swimsuit Photos

When Salma Hayek tries to take some bikini pictures, she can't seem to catch a break.

The 57-year-old actress posted a series of pictures on Instagram on 15th April showing her attempts to strike a pose in her swimsuit as she exits a pool. But as she climbs the pool ladder, her family keeps splattering water in her face with a hose, ruining her attempts every time.

She hilariously writes, "When your family won't let you take a bikini pic in peace 🥲🚿🤣," along with a translation into Spanish in her caption.

Even though Hayek frequently posts beachy swimsuit photos on social media, she's well-known for being open about what goes on behind the scenes of her Instagram pics. Last month, she made it known that her 16-year-old daughter Valentina had snapped one of her chic bikini photos, highlighting the value of having a family photographer.

The Eternals actress has also offered behind-the-scenes looks at her many beauty regimens on social media, such as a homemade method for hiding grey hair that she revealed in an Instagram Reel from February. 

Beyond her social media posts, Hayek is transparent about her views on beauty. She has previously discussed how her perception of her beauty has changed and how looking back, she believes she is more attractive than she was when she was younger.
