Lisa Kudrow, forever etched in the hearts of millions as the quirky Phoebe Buffay from ‘Friends,’ continues to charm not just fans but also A-list celebrities, as revealed in a recent interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! On the show, guest host Anthony Anderson delved into Kudrow’s journey post-Friends and the lasting impact of her iconic role.
During the interview, Kudrow shared a delightful anecdote about a celebrity party encounter with Sandra Bullock, where the ‘Bird Box’ star inadvertently referred to her as Phoebe. “Oh my God, I just love this!” Kudrow exclaimed, recounting Bullock’s light-hearted slip-up. “She was like, ‘Well I guess you’ll just have to talk to yourself, Phoebe, about something,'” Kudrow recalled with a chuckle.

Reflecting on her time wrapping up ‘Friends’ back in 2004, Kudrow also shared a touching moment from her first-week post-finale. “Apparently, I was crying in the kitchen,” she admitted, revealing how her young son innocently tried to console her. “He wanted to know why I was crying,” Kudrow reminisced, her son’s innocent suggestion that she could still see her friends bringing a smile to her face even in retrospect.
In a more recent revelation on ‘Late Night With Seth Myers’ in 2022, Kudrow disclosed her son Julian’s surprising admiration for ‘Friends.’ Watching the sitcom while sick with COVID-19, Julian called his mom with an unexpected review. “So I just watched the first two episodes. It’s really good, Mom,” he enthused, much to Kudrow’s astonishment and joy. “Never in my life have I wanted to tell my own kid, like, ‘F— you!’ I mean, I thought it, I didn’t say it,” she joked, highlighting the humorous dynamics between a proud parent and an honest child.
