Scarlett Johansson Provides Exciting Update on ‘Jurassic World 4’

An exciting new update has emerged for a major project involving one of Marvel’s top stars from the Infinity Saga. In an interview with ComicBook.com to promote her latest film, ‘Fly Me To The Moon,’ alongside Channing Tatum, Scarlett Johansson shared her enthusiasm for her upcoming role in the new ‘Jurassic World movie.

She praised the script, penned by original ‘Jurassic Park’ writer David Koepp. Johansson, a key figure in the MCU’s success, discussed what joining the ‘Jurassic Park’ franchise means to her: “It means everything. I’m a huge ‘Jurassic Park’ fan. It was one of the first movies I saw in theatres, and it was life-changing. I can’t express how excited I am.”

Johansson’s love for ‘Jurassic Park’ like many fans, began with Steven Spielberg’s iconic film in the 90s, which is still celebrated 30 years later as a groundbreaking blockbuster. She also shared promising news about the script, highlighting Koepp’s passionate return after a nearly 30-year hiatus from the franchise:

“The script is incredible. David Koepp wrote it, returning after 30 years. His passion for it is amazing.” Scarlett Johansson is a self-proclaimed ‘Jurassic’ nerd, expressing her deep affection for the franchise. She explained the lengths she would go to just to be part of a ‘Jurassic’ project:

“I’m such a huge fan and nerd for this franchise. I’ve been trying to join it for over 10 years, even if it meant dying in the first five minutes or working in craft services! The fact that it’s happening now is unbelievable. I can’t believe it.”

Johansson’s enthusiasm is contagious, and her excitement sets high expectations for the new movie. The ‘Jurassic World’ reboot recently started filming in Thailand and features a star-studded cast including Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, and Rupert Friend. Directed by Gareth Edwards, known for ‘The Creator’ and ‘Rogue One,’ this reboot promises to be a thrilling addition to the franchise.

The ‘Jurassic World’ reboot is slated for release in theatres on 2nd July 2025.
