Scarlett Johansson Reacts to Colin Jost’s Shocking Dirty Jokes on SNL

Following the most recent ‘Saturday Night Live’ show, Colin Jost may have to explain a few things to his wife, Scarlett Johansson. Jost and his Weekend Update co-host, Michael Che, engaged in their semiannual practice of reading jokes they had not previously seen during the show’s winter finale in December recently. The purpose of these jokes is to cause embarrassing situations, and this year’s group didn’t hold back, particularly when it came to comments concerning Johansson.

A camera recorded the actress’s reactions as she watched the Weekend Update segment live. She had previously featured in the episode’s opening monologue. As soon as the punchline took an unexpected turn, Jost started reciting a joke about Johansson reaching 40 and soon displayed indications of discomfort. Johansson responded backstage, clearly surprised, as Jost buried his face in his hands in response to another joke that made reference to the couple’s child.

Jost had previously included their relationship in the humour. He made a joke about Johansson’s AI character in Her at the season 49 finale, referencing a lawsuit she had with OpenAI.

The pair started dating in 2017 after first meeting in 2006 when Johansson hosted an episode and Jost was a writer for ‘Saturday Night Live’. Cosmo, their son, was born in 2021, and they were married in October 2020. In addition, Johansson has a daughter from a prior marriage named Rose Dorothy.
