Shakira Surprises Fans at Coachella With Two Performances And World Tour Announcement

At the recent Coachella Music Festival in California, the globally acclaimed Shakira, created waves of excitement as she made a surprise guest appearance during Bizarrap’s set. Together, they performed two electrifying songs and unveiled plans for Shakira's upcoming world tour.

In a grand reveal projected on a massive screen behind her, Shakira announced the title of her highly anticipated tour: 'Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran' World Tour. This tour marks a significant return to the stage for the artist, following her last tour, 'El Dorado World Tour.' The tour's name is derived from her latest studio album, 'Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,' which translates to 'Women No Longer Cry' in English.

Taking to Instagram after the surprise performance, Shakira expressed her excitement, stating, "So stoked to finally announce that LAS MUJERES YA NO LLORAN WORLD TOUR is happening! During her appearance at Coachella, Shakira and Bizarrap treated the audience to a thrilling rendition of ‘La Fuerte’ and 'BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53.' Notably, the latter song delves into Shakira's personal experiences, including her 2022 breakup with longtime partner Gerard Piqué and the subsequent emotions surrounding it, including his new relationship with Clara Chia Marti.

In a candid conversation with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 before the album's release, Shakira opened up about the creative process behind the song and its powerful lyrics. She emphasised the importance of expressing one's emotions authentically, refusing to be confined by external expectations.
