Sharon Osbourne, co-host of ‘The Osbournes’ Podcast and wife of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, recently revealed a surprising secret about the filming of their iconic reality show. During a stint on Celebrity Big Brother UK, Sharon confessed that Ozzy was under the influence of marijuana on every episode of the show, which ran from 2002 to 2005.
'The Osbournes' took the world by storm, offering an unfiltered look into the often chaotic and hilarious life of the Osbourne family. It launched the careers of their children, Kelly and Jack, and cemented Ozzy's status as a pop culture icon.

While viewers were entertained by Ozzy's often bewildered antics and quirky personality, it seems marijuana use may have played a significant role in his on-screen persona. Sharon further elaborated that Ozzy "never watched a single episode" and "doesn't want to see it." This suggests the reality of filming may not have been entirely enjoyable for him.
The Osbournes have been open about their experiences with marijuana in the past. Sharon herself has denied ever using it during filming. In a recent episode of their podcast, Sharon even admitted to once hiding Ozzy's stash by...well, letting him discover it elsewhere (let's just say it wasn't the most pleasant surprise for Ozzy).

It's important to note that marijuana laws and attitudes towards the drug have shifted considerably since ‘The Osbournes’ first aired. Back then, recreational use was far less accepted. Sharon's comments may reignite debates about the show's portrayal of the family and the normalcy it presented around marijuana use.
Whether this revelation changes how fans view ‘The Osbournes’ remains to be seen.
