Snoop Dogg Honours Late Brother at Funeral: "Fondly Remembers His Laugh"

In a poignant display of remembrance and reverence, Snoop Dogg, the esteemed figure in the realm of rap music, turned to Instagram to honour the memory of his beloved half-brother, Worthington, who recently departed from this world. 

Embracing the solemnity of the occasion, Snoop Dogg, known in private life as Calvin Broadus Jr., shared a moving snapshot captured during Worthington's funeral service. The photograph encapsulated a moment of profound contemplation as Snoop Dogg stood alongside his family, their collective grief palpable amidst the sombre ambience of the ceremony.

Clad in an attire of symbolic significance, Snoop Dogg donned an all-red suit, adorned with a coordinating hat and shaded by dark sunglasses. Each element of his attire seemed to mirror the gravity of the occasion, emphasising his deep respect and admiration for his departed brother. 

As he stood beside Worthington's casket, surrounded by loved ones with heads bowed in solemn tribute, Snoop Dogg conveyed a sense of reflection and introspection, encapsulating the profound impact that Worthington had on his life and the lives of those around him.

The post drew an outpouring of condolences from followers, with actress Lena Waithe offering prayers and support, and Michael Strahan expressing solidarity with a prayer hands emoji. Days before the funeral, Snoop Dogg hinted at Worthington's passing on social media, sharing a photo alongside his late sibling. Worthington had been an integral part of Snoop Dogg's career journey, initially starting as a roadie before ascending to the role of tour manager.

Throughout their professional collaboration, Worthington ventured into various solo endeavours, establishing himself as a force in the music industry. He co-founded Snoop Dogg Skateboards and contributed to ventures such as Lifestyle, a rap duo, and Dogg Records, a Canadian record label where he served as an executive producer, as reported by Billboard.
