Snoop Dogg Performs Dressage Freestyle For Martha Stewart
During the recent Summer Olympics, Snoop Dogg showcased his unique flair and growing enthusiasm for equestrian sports. As he watched a horse named Gin & Juice compete, the rapper, known for his hit ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’, shared his excitement by delivering a freestyle performance and providing lively commentary from the broadcast booth at the Palace of Versailles.
Snoop Dogg’s reaction to the horse’s name was unmistakable, exclaiming, “AYYYY!” upon hearing the name, which references his iconic 1994 track. He followed up with, “OK, we got an LBC horse in the house!” demonstrating his enthusiasm for the competition.

Adding to the fun, Snoop crafted some custom lyrics about his equine counterpart, rapping, ‘From the front to the back / There’s so much drama, and party, it’s hard being an H-O-R-S-E’. His friend Martha Stewart joined in, offering her insights on the horse’s form and skills during the event.
Snoop Dogg also displayed his version of the ‘sidewalk’ dance move, further showcasing his creativity and engagement with the event. In a conversation with Olympics anchor Mike Tirico, Snoop expressed his newfound appreciation for dressage, noting, “I didn’t realize that I love the chemistry of the driver [rider] and the horse… I call them the ‘driver’ because they actually drive the horse.” He admitted to his previous fear of horses but revealed his enjoyment of feeding them.
Back in 2021, Snoop Dogg had previously shared his commentary on dressage with Kevin Hart, expressing amazement at a horse performing a “crip walk” and jokingly stating, “I’ve gotta get this motherf—er in a video.” His fascination with the sport has clearly grown since then.
In addition to his equestrian commentary, Snoop celebrated Martha Stewart’s birthday during the Olympics. The pair, longtime friends, attended the equestrian team dressage event together, both dressed in matching riding helmets, jackets, white pants, and coordinated sunglasses, highlighting their shared enthusiasm for the sport.
