Snoop Dogg's Daughter Faces Health Challenge With Severe Stroke

Cori Broadus, the daughter of renowned rapper Snoop Dogg and his wife Shante Broadus, finds herself in the hospital following a significant health setback, a severe stroke. 

The distressing news was conveyed by Broadus herself as she took to her Instagram story from her hospital bed in the early morning hours. Expressing a mix of emotions, she shared the emotional experience of breaking down in tears upon learning about the severity of the stroke from her doctors.

The enduring union of Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. and Shante Broadus began and has flourished over the years. Their matrimonial bond has blessed them with three children Cori, Corde and Cordell Broadus. Notably, Snoop Dogg is also a father to a third son, Julian, from a previous relationship with Laurie Holmond.

A notable shift in stroke occurrences has been observed over recent decades, with 10 to 15 per cent of all strokes now affecting younger individuals. A 2016 study published in the Journal of the American Heart Association indicates a significant surge of 43.8 per cent in hospitalisation rates related to acute ischemic strokes.

In a previous interview with People, Cori Broadus discussed her holistic approach to managing her health, stating, "I stopped taking all of my medication like five months ago. I'm just doing everything naturally, all types of herbs, sea moss and teas. I started working out and drinking lots of water. So now I think my body's like, OK, this is the new program and she's getting used to it."
