In order to accomplish this, he travels far from the cozy confines of Bikini Bottom and encounters strange, exhilarating, and humorous difficulties that only the world's most optimistic sea sponge could endure by following the fabled ghost pirate The Flying Dutchman into the deepest depths of the ocean.

Alongside SpongeBob are his closest pal Patrick Star and well-known characters like Sandy Cheeks and Squidward Tentacles, all of whom are voiced by beloved franchise talent whose performances continue to define these characters.
