Stray Kids Drop ‘Chk Chk Boom’ Music Video Featuring Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds
Stray Kids have just released the music video for their latest single, ‘Chk Chk Boom’ and it’s packed with star power. The video features none other than Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds, reprising their iconic Marvel roles as Wolverine and Deadpool. These two are not just making a cameo; they are co-anchoring a cable news network programme, providing a fun and quirky framing for the music video.
The video alternates between comedic skits with Jackman and Reynolds and high-energy performances by Stray Kids. The band delivers their powerful new single from rooftop sets and city streets, bringing an electrifying vibe. The chorus is catchy and energetic: “Boom, vamos, I know that you want it / Boom, lobos, we cannot stop hunting / Boom, ratatata, I’mma make it / Boom, boom, chk chk boom.”

This is Stray Kids’ second major release of 2024, following their English single ‘Lose My Breath’ with Charlie Puth. Group leader Bang Chan told NME that ‘Chk Chk Boom’ allows the group to showcase a different side of themselves.
In addition to their projects, Stray Kids will also contribute an original song, ‘Slash,’ to the soundtrack for the upcoming Marvel film, Deadpool & Wolverine, set for release later this month. The soundtrack promises to be a hit, featuring classics from NSYNC, Fergie, the Goo Goo Dolls and more.
