Suki Waterhouse has had her share of high-profile romances during her “sadistic” 20s. Before finding love with her now-fiancé, Robert Pattinson, she endured a tough break-up with Bradley Cooper. In her August 2024 British Vogue cover story, the 32-year-old model and singer looked back at her public relationship with the Oscar-nominated actor, which ended on a dark and disorienting note.
“When something very public happens to you, and the story behind it is dark and difficult, and you’re actually not doing well, and you can’t explain yourself to the world, that’s very isolating,” she shared. Despite the tough times, Suki managed to pull herself together and now has a strong sense of who she is.

Suki and Bradley dated for two years between 2013 and 2015 and their 17-year age difference raised quite a few eyebrows. Ironically, Bradley is now dating Gigi Hadid, who is 20 years younger than him. He also has a six-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper, with his ex-partner, Irina Shayk.
After her split with Bradley, Suki was briefly linked to actor Diego Luna in 2017 before meeting Robert Pattinson the following year. Now, she’s more open about sharing glimpses into her personal life, including her romance with her fiancé, Pattinson.
In her interview, she gushed about their bond, revealing that they share a “same slight uncomfortable-ness” that brings them closer. Suki also swooned over Robert’s sense of humour, saying, “I think Rob’s quite funny. I light up when I’m around him.”
Robert, who has had his share of dating history, isn’t bothered by Suki’s past relationships. He “doesn’t really give a s**t” when her ex, singer Miles Kane, messaged her about music. Suki believes that’s because Robert knows “no one is better than him,” and he’s confident in their relationship.
