Suki Waterhouse Responds to Criticism Over Coachella Performance Shortly After Giving Birth

Suki Waterhouse, 32, continues to make waves in pop culture as her career reaches new heights. Recently, she faced criticism for performing at Coachella just six weeks after giving birth to her and Robert Pattinson’s child. In a British Vogue interview published in the August issue on July 2, she addressed the backlash she received.

Speaking about motherhood, Suki mentioned how mothers are often scrutinized by both themselves and society. She described it as overwhelming how others project their expectations onto mothers.

Reflecting on the criticism of her Coachella performance shortly after childbirth, Suki shared her perspective, admitting she had concerns about how it would all come together and whether it was feasible. “You just have to go, ‘This is what we’re doing, this is who we are, and forget what anyone else thinks,'” she emphasized.

During the interview, Suki also discussed her past relationship with Bradley Cooper, describing their breakup as disorienting and isolating, especially when it became public. The couple dated from 2013 to 2015 despite a significant age gap.
