Super Bowl 2024: Catch Sneak Peeks of Blockbuster Movie Trailers!

Gear up for an exciting lineup of major blockbuster trailers set to make waves during the highly anticipated advertising breaks of this weekend’s Super Bowl. As Super Bowl LVIII unfolds at Allegiant Stadium near Las Vegas, Nevada, bringing together the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs, an estimated 100 million viewers are expected to tune in for the game broadcast on CBS.

Despite the hefty price tag of approximately $7 million (£5.6 million) for a 30-second ad spot during the opening quarter, major studios are seizing the opportunity to showcase their upcoming features. Paramount, affiliated with CBS, will take centre stage, featuring trailers for highly anticipated films like ‘A Quiet Place: Day One,’ ‘Bob Marley: One Life’ and ‘IF.’

‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ is a prequel to the 2018 post-apocalyptic horror film, marking the third installment in the franchise. Slated for a June release, the movie boasts a star-studded cast including Lupita Nyong’o and Djimon Hounsou, with Michael Sarnoski (Pig) at the directorial helm. 

‘Bob Marley: One Love,’ a biopic about the reggae icon, is set to capture hearts with the cooperation of the Marley family and stars Kingsley Ben-Adir. Directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, this captivating journey into Bob Marley’s life hits screens next week on 14th February.

Adding to the excitement is ‘IF,’ a fantasy comedy film from the mind of John Krasinski, the creative force behind ‘A Quiet Place.’ This imaginative tale follows a young girl with the ability to see people’s imaginary friends or IFs and lends a helping hand to those abandoned by their human counterparts. Starring Ryan Reynolds, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Steve Carell, ‘IF’ is set for release on 17th May.

Beyond film, Paramount+ promises enticing television offerings, including the reality show ‘The Family Stallone,’ Sonic the Hedgehog spinoff ‘Knuckles’ and the animated show ‘The Tiger’s Apprentice.’ While Disney keeps upcoming releases under wraps, potential contenders for high-profile spots include ‘Deadpool 3,’ ‘Inside Out 2’ and ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.
