Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell on The Hunt for Their Next Project 

Are Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney the next iconic on-screen duo, akin to Julia Roberts and George Clooney? Following the success of their romantic comedy ‘Anyone But You,’ which grossed a staggering $200 million worldwide, the pair has become a sought-after and bankable tandem, poised to captivate audiences with their love stories.

As the duo continues to bask in the triumph of rescuing the rom-com genre, Glen Powell shared their plans for the future at the SAG Awards. In an interview with Variety's Senior Culture and Events Editor Marc Malkin, Powell expressed an eagerness to explore new projects.

He emphasized the joy of working with Sydney Sweeney, describing her as easygoing and fun. Powell welcomed script submissions, stating, "Please send us all the scripts you got. You know we're here for it." Both actors are actively reading numerous scripts, seeking narratives that resonate with audiences and can be transformed into compelling stories.

While awaiting news of their next joint venture, fans can anticipate Powell's upcoming project, the action film ‘Twisters,’ set for release this summer. Powell, who had been involved in the project since collaborating with ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ director Joseph Kosinski, expressed excitement about the tornado-chasing film. 

Working alongside co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones, Powell highlighted the movie's thrilling texture, promising a spectacular experience with top-notch visual and special effects, including the expertise of Spielberg's and Nolan's teams. 

The actor conveyed the film's intense and exciting production, featuring scenes in Oklahoma with jet engines, wind machines, and town destruction, ensuring a captivating cinematic ride.
