In an exclusive interview, the renowned ‘Kill Bill’ singer, SZA, candidly revealed her overwhelming awe in the presence of Beyoncé during the prestigious 2024 Grammys.

Expressing her sentiments, the songstress confessed, "I was scared to go over to Beyoncé." She elaborated on the internal struggle, sharing, "I can't speak unless she wants to speak, in my brain, because I don't want to bother her." SZA's admiration for Beyoncé's aura was palpable as she remarked, "She looked so peaceful and beautiful. I just admire her. She's a masterclass on poise, grace, artistry, beauty, and kindness."

Despite not having the opportunity to personally meet the 32-time Grammy winner, SZA did encounter Beyoncé's husband and the 2024 Dr. Dre Global Impact Award recipient, JAY-Z. Reflecting on the encounter, SZA exclaimed, "JAY-Z did speak to me. I was so grateful." 

She expressed her profound appreciation, stating, "Those are literally my favourite people, and it's so crazy that I am seeing them in real life."

Opening up about her admiration for JAY-Z, SZA revealed, "JAY-Z means the world to me. I'm a JAY-Z stan so bad." She emphasised his significance in her life, describing him as her "all-time favourite."

Alongside this memorable encounter, SZA's talent was celebrated at the 66th annual Grammy Awards, where she clinched three prestigious awards. Her achievements included winning the best urban contemporary album for ‘SOS’, the best pop duo/group performance alongside Phoebe Bridgers for ‘Ghosts in the Machine’ and the best R&B song for her hit track ‘Snooze’.
