Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Win at People’s Choice Awards 2024

After clinching victory at the Super Bowl, the NFL star seized another triumph as he was crowned 'Athlete of the Year' at the 2024 People's Choice Awards. This accolade comes on the heels of approximately six months of romantic involvement with renowned singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.

Despite his notable achievement Kelce was notably absent from the prestigious event held at the Barker Hangar.

Competing alongside illustrious athletes such as Coco Gauff, Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James, Lionel Messi, Sabrina Ionescu, Simone Biles and Stephen Curry, Kelce emerged victorious in the category.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift, Kelce's partner, celebrated her successes at the ceremony, clinching four out of five nominations. Unfortunately, she was unable to attend the event due to her ongoing performances in Australia as part of her 'Eras Tour.'

Kelce's rise to prominence has been meteoric, particularly since embarking on a relationship with the acclaimed singer-songwriter. Reflecting on his nomination in January, Kelce humorously remarked on his podcast, 'New Heights,' dubbing it "f–king nonsense." He humorously questioned the rationale behind his nomination, citing his appearance on SNL.

The coupling of Kelce with Swift, which commenced last summer, has undoubtedly contributed to his heightened visibility and success, according to many fans. Notably, Swift was by Kelce's side when he and the Kansas City Chiefs secured their second consecutive Super Bowl victory in Las Vegas.
