But why is the number 13 so significant to Taylor Swift?

Well, for starters, she was born on December 13th. Back in 2009, the singer explained to MTV the importance of the number 13 in her life, revealing, “I was born on the 13th. I turned 13 on Friday, the 13th. My first album went gold in 13 weeks. My first No. 1 song had a 13-second intro.” Swift added, “Basically, whenever a 13 comes up in my life, it’s a good thing.”

Moreover, the ‘Midnights’ singer unveiled ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ during her 13th Grammy win, further solidifying the number’s significance in her life. Swift’s announcement of the album came during her acceptance speech at the Grammy Awards in February, where she won her 13th Grammy for her album ‘Midnights.’
