Taylor Swift Honours 113th Eras Tour Show With Special Performance of 4 Favourite Songs

Zurich became the latest European city to experience the magic of Taylor Swift’s record-breaking ‘Eras Tour’ as she played her first of two nights at Letzigrund Stadium. This performance marked a significant milestone in her 18-year career, as it was her first-ever concert in Switzerland.

Despite the sweltering temperatures, Swift delivered an electrifying show, even acknowledging the heat during the Lover section of her set. “You’re still dancing like crazy,” she remarked, adding, “Immediate bonus points right off the bat.”

During her unique acoustic set, where she plays a different selection of songs for each Eras Tour date, Swift took a moment to highlight the significance of the Zurich concert. “This is actually our 113th show of the ‘Eras tour’, and that’s my favourite number, which I never mention,” she joked with the audience. “I just thought since it was my favourite number, I’d do some of my favourite songs for the acoustic section.”

She then delighted the crowd with a special mashup of the Evermore track ‘Right Where You Left Me’ and the 1989 hit ‘All You Had To Do Was Stay’, showcasing her versatility and deep connection to her music.

Adding to the evening’s significance, the show coincided with the one-year anniversary of the release of ‘Speak Now’ (Taylor’s Version), a re-recorded version of her classic 2010 album. The concert also took place on a date immortalised in Swift’s song ‘Last Kiss’ from Speak Now, which mentions July 9th. Swift acknowledged this during her acoustic set, saying, “Happy July 9th to those who celebrate,” before performing a heartfelt mashup of ‘Last Kiss’ and ‘Sad Beautiful Tragic’ on the piano.

Just a week earlier in Amsterdam, Swift played host to her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce. During her acoustic set, she included a reference to his 87 jersey number, which appeared to move him emotionally. On the final night of her Amsterdam stop, the couple was seen leaving the stadium hand-in-hand, waving to the cheering fans, adding a personal touch to the tour’s narrative.
