Pop superstar Taylor Swift is building anticipation for the streaming debut of her concert film, ‘Taylor Swift The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version)’ on Disney+.
Leading up to the release, Swift has been teasing some special additions to the streaming version. These include acoustic performances that were previously cut from the theatrical release. Fans have been treated to sneak peeks of these intimate renditions throughout the week on ‘Good Morning America’.
One such song is ‘Maroon’, a hit from her 2022 album ‘Midnights’. A clip shared by Disney+ showcases Swift passionately singing the chorus at the piano. This sneak peek subtly confirms the song's inclusion in the film, following an earlier tease in a new trailer.
Another treat for fans is ‘Death by a Thousand Cuts’ from her 2019 album ‘Lover’. The preview clip features Swift strumming her acoustic guitar and delivering powerful verses interspersed with warm smiles for the audience. The previously announced ‘Cardigan’ from her 2020 album ‘Folklore’ also got a surprise reveal.
This Disney+ release promises to be a comprehensive experience for "Swifties" (Taylor Swift fans). It includes the full concert alongside previously unavailable acoustic versions of beloved songs.
‘Taylor Swift The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version)’ is a documentary directed by Sam Welch. It was filmed during the ‘Eras Tour’ shows at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium in August 2023. The film initially premiered in cinemas in October 2023, followed by a VOD release with additional songs like ‘The Archer’, ‘Long Live’, and ‘Wildest Dreams’.
