Taylor Swift is heading back to late-night television. The global pop icon, now 35, has been announced as a guest on 'The Tonight Show,' starring Jimmy Fallon on 6th October, just three days after the release of her album, 'The Life of a Showgirl.'

NBC confirmed the lineup recently, revealing that Taylor Swift will appear alongside actress Keri Russell, while indie band The Format will provide the night's musical performance. This marks Swift's seventh visit to Fallon's show, adding another chapter to her long history of memorable late-night appearances.

To tease the news, Fallon shared a Vegas-themed Instagram video filled with Easter eggs tied to Taylor Swift's latest era. The clip showed him at a roulette table betting on the numbers 6, 10, and 25 before the ball landed on 13, a number closely associated with Swift throughout her career.

Fallon played up his disappointment at the result, weaving in one of the album’s promotional taglines, and later crossed paths with dancers dressed as showgirls. The video closed with a tongue-in-cheek reference to a line made famous by Swift's wardrobe in her 22 music video, signalling the announcement in her signature playful style.

Swift's appearance comes on the heels of the release of 'The Life of a Showgirl,' arriving on 3rd October. The 12-track album features a highly anticipated collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter on the title track. Swift first announced the record back in August during a guest appearance on the 'New Heights' podcast hosted by her boyfriend, Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce.
