With a creative multi-platform campaign that includes screens, shelves, restaurants, and digital communities, Paramount Pictures is reviving 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,' one of pop culture's most enduring brands. Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird's brutal black-and-white comic from 1984 has become a worldwide phenomenon that has been adored by generations. With a new YouTube animated series aimed at preschoolers, long-term toy partnerships with Mattel, TMNT-themed eateries in international cities, ongoing film projects, including the follow-ups to the popular Mutant Mayhem movies, and new books and comics designed to appeal to fans of all ages, Paramount is now building on that legacy.

Turtle Power Everywhere: YouTube Show, Novels, and New Cinematic Ventures

With 'Teeny Mutant Ninja Turtles,' a CG-animated preschool series that will debut on YouTube in 2026, Paramount is reintroducing the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' into homes in a new and approachable way. The 30 brief episodes, each lasting roughly four minutes, are intended to introduce the characters and their world to the younger audience.

The series centers on Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo during their formative years as ninjas-in-training. In addition to this digital campaign, Paramount is launching two new TMNT novels: 'The Last Ronin,' an adult novel adaptation based on the critically acclaimed graphic novel, which will be released in June, and 'Splinter's Dojo,' an illustrated book targeted at middle school students that is anticipated to be released in September. These projects reflect Paramount's intent to expand the Turtles' storytelling beyond screens and into new literary spaces.

The franchise's on-screen presence is maintained through its theatrical productions. The Shredder will be the main enemy in the sequel, which Paramount has scheduled for 17th September, 2027, in response to the critical and financial success of 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem' in 2023. The animated short 'Chrome Alone 2—Lost in New Jersey,' which expanded the Mutant Mayhem universe with entertaining, action-packed mini-adventures, was already well received by fans when it debuted in theaters in late 2025.

For fans who seek more depth in between movie releases, there are also ongoing animated programs like 'Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' on Paramount+, which tracks the Turtles as they manage both heroic missions and normal teenage life.

Merch, Mattel Deals, TMNT Restaurants and Global Experiences

Paramount isn't just focusing on screens—it's also dialing up the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' presence in stores, playrooms, and even dining. With the signing of a multi-year consumer products agreement with Mattel, the studio promises to release a new line of Turtles toys and memorabilia that will take iconic heroes and villains to the next level, including action figures. Partnering with industry giants like Mattel unlocks imaginative play opportunities and ensures that TMNT products will be widely available and high‑quality for fans young and old.

On the experiential front, Paramount intends to build TMNT-themed restaurants, where fans can eat in a setting inspired by the franchise's pizza-loving heroes. These restaurants will first debut in cities like Monterrey, Mexico; São Paulo, Brazil; and Santa Monica, USA. The Turtles' cultural influence extends beyond toys and dining establishments thanks to comics, clothing partnerships, and innovative merchandising techniques that maintain the brand's relevance across the globe.

From YouTube animations introducing new audiences to digital storytelling innovations, to novels and cinematic sequels that honour the franchise's rich legacy, Paramount is diving deep into TMNT—ensuring that the heroes in a half shell will continue to resonate for generations to come.
