Capturing the essence of their lives is no easy feat. Director Sam Mendes has taken on the challenge by embarking on a unique cinematic venture. The film promises to offer a comprehensive perspective from two angles. While the audience's adoration for the band will undoubtedly drive the narrative, the storyline will also delve into the 1970s split and explore the individual viewpoints of each Beatles member. The families of the late John Lennon and George Harrison have generously provided complete life stories and music rights for these scripted films.

Mendes, renowned for his work on challenging projects such as 'American Beauty,' '1917,' 'Skyfall' and 'Spectre,' is venturing into new territory with this Beatles-inspired endeavour. In a statement, the Oscar-winning director expressed his honour at helming the story of the greatest rock band of all time, aiming to redefine the cinematic experience.

The studio anticipates that Mendes' visionary approach will result in an innovative and groundbreaking cinematic experience. Collaborating with Neal Street Productions, headed by Pippa Harris and Julie Pastor, Mendes aims to create a uniquely thrilling and epic saga, presenting four films from four different perspectives while telling a singular story about the iconic band.

Harris, speaking on the project, emphasized their intention to offer an immersive cinematic experience, expressing gratitude for the immense privilege of having the Beatles' and Apple Corps' blessing for this venture. This marks a historic moment as the Beatles lend their complete support to a scripted film for the first time.
