Eric Kripke’s 'The Boys' has cemented itself as one of the most intense and outrageous TV shows to date. Known for its graphic violence and shocking twists, the series never fails to leave viewers both amazed and horrified. With scenes like the infamous Termite episode and Homelander’s brutal outbursts, it’s no surprise that fans eagerly await each new instalment.

Jack Quaid, who plays Hughie Campbell, recently shared his thoughts on the upcoming fourth season, and it sounds like we’re in for a wild ride. According to Quaid, the new season is going to be "nuts." In a recent interview, he expressed his shock and excitement after reading the script, describing it as the most insane one yet. "There are certain moments in this season that, when I initially read them in the script, I gasped out loud, which is very hard to get me to do, after four seasons," Quaid shared.

The buzz around the fourth season is growing, with fans eagerly anticipating what’s next for the Seven and Antony Starr’s character, Homelander, especially with the introduction of two new supes. Quaid hinted that this season will be even bloodier and more exciting than the previous ones.

"This is my favourite season that we've ever done," he said, emphasising how the show’s writers have managed to keep the story fresh and engaging. "I think that's a real testament to the writers. It is never more of the same. They always find a way to somehow find new beats and never repeat themselves."

Eric Kripke, the mastermind behind 'The Boys,' has also hinted in past interviews that the show will continue to ramp up the violence. This only adds to the mounting excitement for what season 4 has in store. Known for its gripping season finales, packed with surprising alliances, cliffhangers, and shocking deaths, fans can expect even more of these thrilling elements.

In a recent chat with Collider, Quaid revealed that the writers have truly outdone themselves with the season 4 finale. "The ending is awesome. The ending is f**king nuts. It’s insane," he added, highlighting how the show continues to surprise even its cast.

"I never know how the seasons are gonna end… Eventually, we find out because we read the scripts, but [Kripke] doesn’t really let a ton of details slip about the endgame of each season… There are certain things in this season when I read them that I audibly gasped."
