The trailer for ‘The First Omen’ hints at the presence of evil. 20th Century Studios unveiled the first look at the prequel to the iconic horror series, initiated by 1976's ‘The Omen’ featuring Gregory Peck.
The narrative follows a young American woman sent to Rome for a life of service to the church. However, she confronts a darkness that challenges her faith and uncovers a sinister conspiracy aiming to bring forth the birth of evil incarnate.
Leading the cast is Nell Tiger Free from ‘Servant’, along with Tawfeek Barhom, Sonia Braga, Ralph Ineson, and Bill Nighy. Directed by Arkasha Stevenson, ‘The First Omen’ explores a storyline beyond the three sequels to the original ‘Omen’ film, and a 2006 remake starred Julia Stiles, Liev Schreiber, and Mia Farrow.
