However, a new threat arises, forcing these formidable creatures into an unlikely alliance. This new enemy’s ambition to dominate the surface world compels Godzilla and Kong to set aside their differences and confront the impending danger together.

‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’ not only presents thrilling action sequences but also delves into Godzilla’s backstory. The film reveals that Godzilla’s species has existed for millennia, endowed with immense power. However, their existence faced a dire challenge with the emergence of the MUTOs, introduced as antagonists in the film ‘Godzilla’. 

These formidable creatures systematically decimated Godzilla’s kind, while simultaneously engaging in a brutal conflict with Kong’s species within the Hollow Earth. The central antagonist in the new film, Skar King, emerges as a mastermind behind the chaos. He manipulates Kong’s species to eradicate Godzilla’s kind, aiming to seize control of the surface world.
