Tiësto Withdraws from Super Bowl Performance Due to Emergency, Replaced by Kaskade

Tiësto, the renowned music producer and DJ has made the difficult decision to withdraw from his scheduled performance at the 2024 Super Bowl. In an announcement made on X  cited a “personal family emergency” as the reason for his unexpected absence.

Despite months of preparation and anticipation for his performance, Tiësto expressed his regret over missing the opportunity to showcase his talent on such a grand stage.

However, he emphasised that his family’s well-being takes precedence over professional commitments. Tiësto conveyed his gratitude to the NFL for their collaboration and expressed optimism about the possibility of future endeavours together.

Following Tiësto’s withdrawal, fellow music producer and DJ Kaskade was swiftly announced as his replacement. In a statement shared on Twitter, he expressed his excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to be part of the Super Bowl experience, particularly in Las Vegas, a city he considers a second home.

Reflecting on his roots and contributions to the electronic music scene, Kaskade expressed pride in representing his community on such a prestigious platform.

Tiësto had been slated to entertain audiences during the game breaks, with highlights from his performances slated to be showcased on the CBS broadcast as well as on his social media platforms. However, with his unexpected withdrawal from the event, Kaskade has stepped in to take over the role previously assigned to Tiësto.
