Tom Cruise And Salma Hayek’s Long Standing Friendship: From ‘Ask The Dust’ to The ‘Eras Tour’

To celebrate Tom Cruise’s 62nd birthday, Salma Hayek shared a heartwarming photo of them dressed elegantly at Victoria Beckham’s birthday party earlier this year. Hayek and Cruise’s friendship spans years, beginning with their collaboration on the 2006 film ‘Ask the Dust.’

The movie, featuring Hayek alongside Colin Farrell, Donald Sutherland, and Idina Menzel, was produced by Cruise and came out between his iconic roles in ‘War of the Worlds’ and ‘Mission: Impossible III.’

Following their collaboration, Cruise and Hayek maintained their connection, often seen dining together over the next two decades. In February 2015, the pair made headlines when they were spotted having dinner in London with Cruise’s ex, Penélope Cruz, particularly because Cruise had a bright-red lipstick stain on his cheek. 

Hayek and Cruz share their history, having starred together in the 2006 film ‘Bandidas’.In 2022, Cruise was again seen dining with Hayek, this time accompanied by her husband, François-Henri Pinault. 

Most recently, Cruise and Hayek were spotted at Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ during a London show in June, mingling in the VIP tent among other celebrities at Wembley Stadium. Hayek extended her birthday wishes to Cruise on social media, keeping the celebration going. 

“Happy birthday dear @tomcruise 🥳🥳🥳,” she captioned a photo of them together, posted to her Instagram Stories.
