Tom Cruise Joins Gillian Anderson and Simon Pegg at Coldplay’s Glastonbury Performance

Coldplay’s 2024 Glastonbury Festival set turned into a star-studded event with Tom Cruise, Gillian Anderson, and Simon Pegg in attendance. On June 29, the trio enjoyed the band’s headlining performance at the annual UK festival.

Simon Pegg, 54, who starred with Tom Cruise, 61, as Benji Dunn in the ‘Mission: Impossible’ series, including the upcoming sequel, was part of the excitement. Pegg and Anderson, 55, also shared the screen in the 2008 comedy ‘How to Lose Friends & Alienate People.’

For the festival, Cruise wore an all-black outfit, Pegg sported a tan baseball cap with a white collared shirt and dark denim jacket, and Anderson chose a muted pink coat with her hair in a ponytail. In a video shared by BBC Radio 6 Music’s Matt Everitt, the trio was seen enjoying ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ by Oasis, with Pegg animatedly singing and conducting the audience, Cruise joining in with one hand, and Anderson capturing the moment on her phone.

The event saw other celebrities as well. Michael J. Fox made a memorable appearance onstage with Coldplay, playing the guitar during ‘Fix You.’ The 63-year-old actor, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 1991, performed from his wheelchair. Chris Martin, Coldplay’s frontman, expressed his gratitude, citing Fox as the band’s hero.

Dakota Johnson was also spotted supporting her fiancé, Chris Martin, from the side of the stage. Earlier in the week, Tom Cruise was seen spending time in London with his son, Connor. The pair was photographed departing a helicopter in Central London, with Cruise waving to fans in sunglasses, jeans, and an off-white top, and Connor in a navy baseball cap, black hoodie, jeans, and athletic sneakers.
