Tom Hiddleston is helping build excitement for 'Avengers: Doomsday' as Marvel continues to roll out new teasers, including one that spotlights his on-screen brother, Thor.
Speaking with the U.K. edition of GQ, the Loki star described the upcoming Marvel film as massive in scale and unlike anything the studio has attempted before. He shared that when he first read the script, he was genuinely surprised by how bold and unexpected the core of the story was, saying it felt completely new for the franchise.
Tom Hiddleston on 'Loki' Series
Hiddleston last appeared as Loki in season 2 of the Disney+ series 'Loki', which wrapped up in November 2023. Reflecting on where the character ended up, he explained that Loki had to confront and accept his past actions in order to become someone new. That journey, he said, allowed Loki to take control of his own story and shape a different ending for himself.

The interview comes as Marvel unveils the second 'Avengers: Doomsday' teaser in theatres, ahead of 'Avatar: Fire and Ash.' The preview centres on Chris Hemsworth's Thor and features the return of Love, Thor's adopted daughter, played by Hemsworth's real-life daughter, India Rose. In the footage, Thor delivers a solemn prayer before battle, revealing his desire to fight one final enemy and return home not as a warrior, but as a father seeking peace.
