According to reports from People, talks for ‘Top Gun 3’ are indeed underway, with Cruise being offered the lead role once again. Speaking about the project while promoting his latest film, ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare,’ with filmmaker Guy Ritchie, Bruckheimer expressed optimism about Cruise’s involvement.

“We pitched Tom a story he liked,” Bruckheimer stated. “But he’s a very in-demand actor and he’s got a lot of movies lined up, so we have to wait and see.” Praising Cruise’s work ethic, Bruckheimer highlighted the actor’s dedication to his craft, noting that Cruise remains engaged in every aspect of the filmmaking process.

Laughter is the best thing in the world.”

The sequel grossed $1.5 billion worldwide in 2022, surpassing its predecessor and ranking among the highest-grossing sequels in domestic box office history.
