Travis Kelce Sings Along to ‘You Belong with Me’ With Taylor Swift in The Club

At the Super Bowl afterparty on 11th February, Travis Kelce had something important to ask and he chose Taylor Swift’s ‘You Belong With Me’ to convey his message.

The celebration for the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory took place at Zouk nightclub in Resorts World, Las Vegas, with Swift and Kelce, both 34, in attendance. The Chainsmokers were on the decks, honouring the Chiefs’ win and Swift’s presence by playing her 2008 hit.

In a TikTok video, Kelce was captured singing along to the song, but when he reached the chorus, he made a significant lyric change. Instead of singing “You belong with me,” he belted out, “Are you in love with me?” while pointing to himself. The tight end was in the DJ booth with The Chainsmokers, dancing to the club remix of the song before embracing Drew Taggert in a hug.

Taggert, captured in the video caption, admitted uncertainty about playing the song but deemed it “worth it.” The Chainsmokers even rearranged their setlist for the special occasion.

Swift, although not visible in the DJ booth during the performance, was caught in another angle on TikTok by Keleigh Teller. Swift pointed at Kelce, sang along, and raised her glass during the lyrics “Why can’t you see/you belong with me.”

While celebrating the Chiefs’ nail-biting overtime win on the field, Swift and Kelce shared a kiss and hugged. Kelce later asked Swift about the experience, to which she replied, “It was unbelievable…that was the craziest thing I’ve ever experienced.”
