Travis Kelce’s Golden Rule for Carrying Taylor Swift Onstage
Travis Kelce is still thrilled about his surprise appearance at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in London, though he admitted feeling nervous about one aspect of the experience.
During the latest episode of his ‘New Heights’ podcast with his brother Jason Kelce, Travis explained the one rule he had to follow while carrying Swift onstage. “The main thing I kept telling myself was, don’t drop the baby. Don’t drop Taylor on your way over the couch. The golden rule was to get Taylor to the couch safely,” he said.

Earlier in the episode, Kelce, 34, shared how the cameo came about. “I initially joked to Tay about it,” he told his brother. “I said, ‘How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 era.'” Swift, 34, laughed at first but then asked, “‘Would you seriously be up for doing something like that?'”
He continued, “I was like, ‘What? I’d love to do that, are you kidding me?’ I’ve seen the show enough times — might as well put me to work. And she found the perfect spot for me to join in.”
Later in the episode, he hinted at possibly making another onstage appearance with Swift. “Shout out to Tay for letting me jump on stage with her. Who knows? It might not be the last time,” he said. “You guys will have to keep coming to the Eras Tour to see if I pop out of the stage again.”
He added, “I told her, ‘Yeah, once I get comfortable, I just stop listening to what everyone says and start doing my own thing.’”
