With this project, Kelly Marcel, who also wrote the screenplay based on a story she developed with Hardy, makes her directorial debut. Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Hutch Parker, Marcel, and Hardy are producing the movie.

The first two ‘Venom’ movies, directed by Andy Serkis (2021’s ‘Let There Be Carnage’) and Ruben Fleischer (2018), brought in an incredible $1.3 billion at the box office between them. The third instalment was revealed at Sony’s CinemaCon presentation in April 2022, which was Venom’s first public appearance since a brief appearance in the end credits of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ in 2021.
