Victoria Beckham Opens Up About Balancing Parenting and Career Challenges
Victoria Beckham has shared how challenging it was to balance raising four children while managing her career. In a recent Vogue Australia cover interview with Nicole Kidman, the 50-year-old singer and fashion designer, who married football star David Beckham in 1999, opened up about the difficulties of blending motherhood with professional responsibilities. As they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this year, Victoria reflected on the early days of parenting and admitted that maintaining both roles often meant sacrificing their social life.
“You’re trying to be the best wife, the best mom, and the best professional. When the kids were younger, we didn’t have much of a social life; it was just too much to handle,” Victoria revealed in the interview.

Despite having support from nannies and their parents, Victoria noted that she and David didn’t fully depend on them for childcare. “We’ve never had an enormous amount of staff. We have nannies and our amazing parents, but it still felt like juggling,” she said. The demands of being a devoted mother, wife, and successful professional took their toll, especially on Victoria, who is also known as Posh Spice.
Victoria and David have four children—Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 13.
After celebrating their 25th anniversary in July with nostalgic posts about their wedding, they now look forward to a new chapter as their children grow more independent. Brooklyn has moved to New York with his wife, Nicola Peltz, and is exploring various career paths, including football, modelling, and cooking. Harper still lives at home but is busy with her own social life.
Recently, Victoria and David enjoyed a romantic getaway to Positano, Italy. They were spotted on their £16 million superyacht, sharing affectionate moments, with their children Cruz, Romeo, and Harper also joining them.
