Victoria Beckham Reflects on ’90s Paris Date with David: ‘We Struggled to Finish a Bottle of Wine’
Recently, Victoria Beckham reminisced about a romantic date night she had with her husband, David Beckham, in the 1990s. She reflected on their trip to Paris, which she characterized as dazzling, sumptuous, and sensual, in an Instagram Reel marketing her new Victoria Beckham Beauty fragrance, Suite 302.
Victoria recounted how the couple used to have trouble finishing a bottle of wine on their date evenings, but she joked that this is no longer a problem as she sat at a romantic Parisian restaurant they used to frequent. Suite 302, which embodies Parisian elegance and their treasured moments from that era, was created in response to the venue’s atmosphere, which included heavy draperies, velvet couches, and elaborate touches like tassels on the chairs.

According to Victoria, the scent evokes the glitz of the 1990s by combining elements of tobacco leaves, leather, and black cherry, reflecting the couple’s amorous encounters in Paris. She highlighted how Suite 302 captures the spirit and refinement of that moment in their lives and honours the time they spent together in the city.
Victoria’s talent for incorporating personal tales into her beauty brand, which made its debut in 2019, is being carried over with the fragrance launch. David acknowledges that he fell in love with Victoria at first sight when they first met at a Manchester United game in 1997, marking the beginning of their long-lasting romance. Their bond has strengthened over time, and David has praised Victoria’s strength, beauty, and charm.
